If you don't see the Favorites sidebar in Trickster, press on the "star" icon on the top-right to display it.
You can add files or folders to the Favorites sidebar so that you could perform the following action:

Quickly open the file or folder by double-clicking on it in the sidebar (or pressing Enter when it's highlighted)

Move files into folders by dragging them from the main list onto a folder in the sidebar
- Copy files into folders by dragging them from the main list onto a folder in the sidebar with the Option (Alt) key depressed
- Open documents with the application in the Favorites sidebar by dragging the document from the main list onto the sidebar. This will even work if the document doesn't normally registered to open the specific file type, i.e. doesn't appear in Open With… list for the document
- Reveal it in Finder or do anything that can be done with the context menu of the item
